MeeGo is a Linux-based open source mobile operating system developed by Intel and Nokia which runs on handhelds, in-car devices, netbooks and televisions has beeb released first version 1.0 to public.All platforms share the MeeGo core, with different UX (User eXperience) layers for each type of device.
According to Intel, MeeGo was developed because Microsoft did not offer comprehensive Windows 7 support for the Atom processor.
